To approve and sign the minutes of the Council Meeting held on 13th January 2016 (enclosed).

8.1       To receive update [enclosed] from Clerk on highway & footpath and other matters since last meeting.

9          CORRESPONDENCE

9.1       Parking on grass verges on The Green and the surrounding streets near Newby School – to receive emails of complaint [enclosed] & agree action as appropriate.

9.2       Consultation on SBC’s Draft Corporate Plan ‘Towards 2030’ [enclosed] to receive & agree comments as appropriate.

9.3       To receive letter [enclosed] from Christopher Keld Charity and elect two councillors to serve as trustees from 1/2/16 to 31/1/19 (currently Cllrs. Watson and Pickersgill).

9.4       Correspondence received after preparation of the agenda which the Chairman of the meeting deems it necessary to consider as a matter of urgency.

FINANCE & GENERAL PURPOSES ISSUES

10        FINANCIAL MATTERS (To be tabled at the meeting unless otherwise indicated)

10.1    To approve the Schedule of Accounts payable for February 2016 (Sch. 11).

10.2    To receive email from Tom Mutton [enclosed] regarding request to extend Discretionary Grant offer to Gallows Close to 31/7/16 & agree action as appropriate.

10.3    To receive & note the Internal Auditor’s report [enclosed] for Schedules 7-9.

10.4    To receive report [enclosed] by Cllr. Towse and Clerk regarding the future of Scalby Library & agree action as appropriate.

10.5    Christmas Lights Competition – to consider Cllr. Thompson’s proposal that in future residents should have to register their property for judging instead of all properties being entered by default & agree action as appropriate.
