3 MINUTES
3.1 To approve and sign the minutes of the Council Meeting held on 8th July 2015 (enclosed).
PROCEDURAL MATTER To suspend Standing Orders so as to allow the Public Open Forum.

8.1 To receive update [enclosed] from Clerk on highway & footpath and other matters since last meeting.

8.3 Sale of land to rear of Danes Dyke [Minute 102/15.6 refers]. To note the decision of SBC Cabinet on 14/7/15 (that the land be sold for its highest and best value) had been called in by Borough Cllr. Billing. To agree if a letter is to be sent to the Scrutiny Committee outlining this council’s continued objection to the sale.
8.4 Police Day – to receive report [enclosed] from Chairman & agree action as appropriate.
9 CORRESPONDENCE
9.1 Yorkshire Coast & Moors County Area Committee – Vacancy for Co-opted Member – to receive details of candidates [enclosed] and agree which candidate this council wishes to vote for.
9.2 To receive & note a letter from Shoreline Suncruisers regarding a new £1 bus service for a route from Newby to town (starts 7th Sept)..
9.3 To receive & note a letter from Scarborough CAB [enclosed] requesting a grant towards expenses – to agree action as appropriate.
9.4 To receive a letter from Fire & Rescue Service [enclosed] regarding proposed changes to the service and agree action as appropriate.
9.5 To receive & note a letter from N. Thomas giving an update on the refurbishment work at The Plough [enclosed].
9.6 Correspondence received after preparation of the agenda which the Chairman of the meeting deems it necessary to consider as a matter of urgency.
FINANCE & GENERAL PURPOSES ISSUES
10 FINANCIAL MATTERS (To be tabled at the meeting unless otherwise indicated)
10.1 Insurance – to consider entering into a new long term agreement (1/10/16 to 30/9/18) which will reduce the 15/16 premium by 5% to £1,337.64 & agree action as appropriate.
10.2 To approve the Schedules of Accounts paid for August 2015 (Sch. 5) and payable for September 2015 (Sch. 6).
10.3 External audit 2014/15 accounts – to note the audit has been successfully completed and no matters of concern raised.
