PROCEDURAL MATTER To suspend Standing Orders so as to allow the Public Open Forum.

9.1 Proposed Amendments to Speed Limits – Field Lane/Burniston Road, Scalby [circulated to all councillors on email on 23/6/14] – to receive and agree comments.
9.2 From NYCC dated 12/6/14 re. its intention to stop funding amenity grass cutting from April 2015 [enclosed] – to receive & agree action as appropriate.
9.3 From NYCC dated 16/6/14 re. changes to charges and goods accepted at household waste recycling centres from 4th August [enclosed] – to receive & note.
9.4 Invite to YLCA AGM (Sat. 19/7/14, 1400, Wetherby) – to agree who (if anyone) is to attend.
9.5 Letter of thanks dated 27/6/14 from Newby & Scalby In Bloom [enclosed] – to receive & note.
9.6 Correspondence received after preparation of the agenda which the Chairman of the meeting deems it necessary to consider as a matter of urgency.
FINANCE & GENERAL PURPOSES ISSUES

10.1 To approve the Schedule of Accounts to be paid for July 2014, Schedule 4.
10.2 To receive Discretionary Grant Applications [enclosed] from Graham Community Choir, Wreyfield Drive Rainbows, Newby Badminton Club & Scalby and Newby Women’s Institute and agree action as appropriate.
10.3 Financial support for Scalby Toilets – to receive letter of 12/6/14 from Chairman of Toilet Trust [enclosed] and agree action as appropriate.
10.4 To consider moving Council meetings to a different day so meetings can be held in a larger room – to agree action as appropriate.
