3 MINUTES
3.1 To approve and authorise the Chairman to sign the minutes of the Council Meeting held on 11th March 2020 (enclosed).

4 TO NOTE:- due to the Coronavirus pandemic central Government placed the country on lockdown on 23rd March and suspended all face to face council meetings. It also removed the requirement for there to be an Annual Meeting of the Council in May 2020. Legislation has been passed to allow councils to meet virtually and for the Chairman and representatives remain in post until the Annual Meeting of the Council in May 2021.

5.1 Correspondence received after preparation of the agenda which the Chairman of the meeting deems it necessary to consider as a matter of urgency.

FINANCE & GENERAL PURPOSES ISSUES

6 FINANCE, REGULATORY & GENERAL MATTERS (To be tabled at the meeting unless otherwise indicated)

6.1 To confirm the Schedules of Accounts Paid for April 2020 (Sch. 1) and May 2020 (Sch. 2) and approve the Schedule of Accounts Payable for June 2020 (Schedule 3).

6.2 2019/20 accounts [enclosed] – to receive & authorise Chairman to sign;

6.3 2019/20 Annual Return [enclosed] – 1] to review & approve Annual Governance Statement (Section 1) & authorise Chairman to sign; 2] to approve Accounting Statements (Section 2) & authorise Chairman to sign.

6.4 General Power of Competence – to receive Clerk’s report [enclosed] & agree action as appropriate.

6.5 Community Engagement – 1] to receive verbal update from Chairman and 2] to extend contract with T. Boden for a period not in excess of 6 months at a cost not to exceed £1,800.

ENVIRONMENT AND DEVELOPMENT ISSUES

7 PLANNING MATTERS:- Applications and Decisions/Appeals Received (see attached sheet) – to confirm comments submitted by Clerk using delegated powers and note appeals submitted or decisions made by planning authorities.

8 PLANNING MATTERS RECEIVED AFTER 28/5/2020 (as notified after distribution of agenda to members on email) – To agree comments as appropriate.
