7.1       To receive update from Clerk on highway, footpath and other matters.

7.2       To receive reports from Councillors of any highway & footpath or other matters requiring attention.

8          CORRESPONDENCE

8.1       To note two letters of thanks have been received from Christmas Lights Competition winners.

8.2       Correspondence received after preparation of the agenda which the Chairman of the meeting deems it necessary to consider as a matter of urgency.

FINANCE & GENERAL PURPOSES ISSUES

9          FINANCE, REGULATORY & GENERAL MATTERS

9.1       To approve the Schedule of Accounts Payable for January 2021 (Schedule 10).

9.2       Christmas Lights Competition – to note results have been published and vouchers sent to all winners.

9.3       AJ1 fund and VAS signs 111/20.6 refers – 1] to note meeting with NYCC had taken place and location of lighting columns to be used agreed; 2] to authorise the Chairman and/or Clerk to sign the VAS Installation Agreement with NYCC.

9.4       Premises:- 1] to note purchase has completed, tenancy at will in force and gas/electric have been transferred into Council’s name, 2] to agree a direct debit be set up online for gas/electric and authorise two councillors to do the online approval; 3] to receive an update from the Chairman/Clerk, agree the way forward and action as appropriate (likely to include deciding on a preferred builder, anonymised prices enclosed);

9.5       Community engagement/telephone support worker [Minute 124/20.5 refers] – to note advice from YLCA & agree action as appropriate.

9.6       2021/22 budget and precept – to receive and set precept (for info, RFO recommends increase precept to £64,400 as per June 2020 survey of parish)

  3. 20/02179/FL Change of use of shop and tearoom (use class E) to parish council meeting room and offices (sui generis), 445b Scalby Road, Scalby. Granted with conditions.
  4. 20/02330/FL Erect 1 bungalow, land adjacent to 2 Hackness Drive. Application withdrawn.
