COMMENCING AT 7 P.M.

ALL COUNCILLORS ARE HEREBY SEVERALLY SUMMONED AND REQUIRED TO ATTEND IN ORDER TO TRANSACT THE BUSINESS ON THE AGENDA.

8          COMMUNITY GOVERNOR TO NEWBY PRIMARY SCHOOL

To agree whose name should be put forward to Newby Primary School to serve as a Community Governor until 28/6/19. (deferred from May meeting)

9          UPDATES ON VARIOUS MATTERS & COUNCILLOR’S REPORTS

9.1       To receive update [enclosed] from Clerk on highway, footpath and other matters since last meeting.

9.2       To receive reports from Councillors of any highway & footpath or general matters requiring attention [form enclosed].

10        CORRESPONDENCE

10.1    Draft minutes of 2018 Parish Assembly [enclosed] – to confirm as an accurate record.

10.2    NYCC’s 7 Area Committees – to note these have been replaced by 6 Area Constituency Committees [see enclosed email].

10.3    Correspondence received after preparation of the agenda which the Chairman of the meeting deems it necessary to consider as a matter of urgency.

11.1    To approve the Schedule of Accounts payable for June 2018 (Sch. 3).

11.2    Long term planning – to consider the way forward for the Parish Council including office accommodation.

15.2     NYMNP Coastal Area Parish Forum – last meeting 24/4/18 Hawsker (Cllr. Thompson).

15.3     Yorkshire Local Councils’ Association – next meeting 31/5/18 (Cllr. Towse).

15.4     Twinning Association –  last meeting 21/3/18. Cllr. Thompson had been unable to attend due to a prior commitment.

15.5     Yorkshire Coast & Moors County Area Committee – last meeting  21/3/18. Cllr. Thompson had been unable to attend due to a prior commitment. Committees have now been disbanded.
