6.1 To receive any applications for co-option to the Ordinary Vacancy created at the election by reason of insufficient nominations & agree action as appropriate – none to hand at issue of agenda.

6.2 To receive any applications for co-option to the Casual Vacancy created by the resignation of D. Langmead & agree action as appropriate – none to hand at issue of agenda.

8.1 Royal Mail letterbox at the end of Hay Brow Crescent [Minute 134/23.3 refers] – to note that according to the Royal Mail delivery office on Aberdeen Walk the letterbox had been removed as it was on private land and an alternative location was being sought.

8.2 Whole Council Training [Minute 151/23.1 refers] – to note response from YLCA & agree action.

8.3 Scalby Toilets [Minute 151/23.2 refers]– to receive update from Chairman

8.4 Planting plan for commemorative area on Newby Farm Road [Minute 151/23.4 refers]– to receive details [enclosed] and agree action/expenditure as appropriate.

8.5 Christmas lights on Church Rooms [Minute 151/23.5 refers]– to receive update from Clerk & agree action as appropriate.

8.6 To receive update from Chairman and/or Clerk on any matters dealt with under delegated powers.

8.7 To receive reports from Councillors of any highway & footpath or other matters requiring attention.

9.1 Email from parishioner regarding lack of lighting on path from Queen Elizabeth Drive to Duchy Avenue & Clerk’s reply to receive & note.

9.2 Correspondence received after 31/10/23 which the Chairman of the meeting deems it necessary to consider as a matter of urgency.

10.1 To approve the Schedule of Accounts Payable for November 2023 (Schedule 8).

10.2 2024/25 Budget preparation – to consider requests (with costings) from councillors in respect of any specific projects to be considered for inclusion within the 24/25 budget & agree action as appropriate.

10.3 To receive and note Internal Auditor’s report [enclosed] for July-September accounts.

SUPPLEMENTARY AGENDA for ordinary meeting of Wednesday 8^th November 2023

Please note the following items have been added to the agenda which was issued on Wednesday 1^st November 2023:-

8.8 To receive report from H. King re. Community & Wellbeing Hub.

10.4 To note the National Joint Council For Local Government Services has agreed a pay award for the 2023/24 financial year (believed to be an additional £1/hour from 1/4/2023) and to agree to pay this award (backdated to 1/4/23) to all employees along with any resulting additional pension contributions. [Members should be aware that official confirmation of the award via the YLCA is expected to be available before 8^th November 2023 and will be forwarded to members on receipt].
