7.1       To receive update from Chairman and Clerk on any matters dealt with under delegated powers.

7.3       To receive reports from Councillors of any highway & footpath or other matters requiring attention.

8          CORRESPONDENCE

8.1       To receive & note additional information on application NYM/2021/0924/FL (allow summerhouse to be used as temporary residential accommodation for 12 months at South Beck House, Hackness Road) and agree any changes to Council’s comments of 8th December 2021  [Minute 98/21.1 refers].

8.2       Correspondence received after preparation of the agenda which the Chairman of the meeting deems it necessary to consider as a matter of urgency.

FINANCE & GENERAL PURPOSES ISSUES

9          FINANCE, REGULATORY & GENERAL MATTERS

9.1       To approve the Schedule of Accounts Payable for January 2022 (Schedule 10).

9.2       Christmas Lights Competition – to note results will be published and vouchers sent to all winners by 19th January 2022.

9.3       Devolution – to receive councillor’s suggestions on what opportunities/functions etc this Council would like to take on from the new unitary authority.

9.4       2022/23 budget & precept – to receive and set precept (RFO recommends precept of £96,025).

9.5       To 1] suspend Financial Regulation 3.5 for a period to be agreed (not in excess of 12 months) and 2] for the same period vary Financial Regulation 19.2 FROM “19.2 With the agreement of the Chairman or Vice Chairman of Council, urgent expenditure exceeding £500 which is specifically for the purpose of ensuring Council meets its legal or contractual obligations” TO “19.2 With the agreement of the Chairman or Vice Chairman of Council, expenditure exceeding £500”.  [These are to enable bills etc to be paid if we are unable to hold virtual meetings or face to face meetings].

9.6       To note Environment Locality grants totalling £2,000 have been awarded via some of the Borough Councillors for Newby Ward and for Scalby Ward
