COMMENCING AT 7 P.M.

ALL COUNCILLORS ARE HEREBY SEVERALLY SUMMONED AND REQUIRED TO ATTEND IN ORDER TO TRANSACT THE BUSINESS ON THE AGENDA.

8          UPDATES ON VARIOUS MATTERS & COUNCILLOR’S REPORTS

8.1       To receive update [enclosed] from Clerk on highway, footpath and other matters since last meeting.

8.2       NYMNP Parish Member Elections [Minute 94/19.2 refers] to note Cllr. B. Marley of Burniston Parish Council has been elected.

8.3       To receive reports from Councillors of any highway & footpath or general matters requiring attention [form enclosed].

9          CORRESPONDENCE

9.1       Removal of public payphones – to note BT is consulting on the removal of the public ‘phone box on Newlands Park Drive (on the parade of shops) as it has only been used 34 times in the last twelve months and agree action as appropriate.

9.2       Request from Borough Cllr. Sharma for assistance with parishioner’s problem of highway flooding outside 4 Cleveland Avenue [pictures enclosed] – to receive & agree action as appropriate.

9.3       Correspondence received after preparation of the agenda which the Chairman of the meeting deems it necessary to consider as a matter of urgency.

FINANCE & GENERAL PURPOSES ISSUES

10        FINANCIAL & GENERAL MATTERS (To be tabled at the meeting unless otherwise indicated)

10.1    To confirm the Schedule of Accounts Paid for August 2019 (Sch. 5) and approve the Schedule of Accounts Payable for September 2019 (Schedule 6).

10.2    Discretionary Grant, Scalby Toilet Trust (deferred from July meeting) – to consider application received & agree action as appropriate [Note, updated financial information will be tabled at the meeting].

10.3    To receive & note the internal auditor’s report for April-June [enclosed].

10.4    To receive external auditor’s report for 2018/19 [enclosed] and to note the notice of conclusion of audit is published on the council’s website and displayed on the parish noticeboard.

10.5    GDPR and its implications for councillor’s personal email addresses – to receive Clerk’s report [enclosed] and agree action as appropriate

10.6    Councillor’s contact details – to agree to release phone and email addresses to all members of council.

10.7    Parish caretaker/handyman [Minute 95/19.2 refers] – to receive Clerk’s report [enclosed] and agree action as appropriate.
