All councillors are hereby severally summoned and required to attend in order to transact the business on the agenda.

3          MINUTES

3.1       To approve and authorise the Chairman to sign the minutes of the Ordinary Meeting of Council held on 14th February 2024 (enclosed).

 

4          EXTERNAL REPORTS

4.1       Police – Report for February incidents covered by Rural Policing Team (circulated with agenda of 13/3/24).

4.2       NY Unitary Council – NY Cllrs. D Bastiman and S. Sharma to report/take questions on NYUC matters as they relate to this parish.

 

5          UPDATES ON VARIOUS MATTERS & COUNCILLOR’S REPORTS/ITEMS

 

5.1       445 Scalby Road – to note it was hoped to have new tenants in residence within the month [Minute 33/24.1 refers].

5.2       Whole Council training [Minute 37/24.4, still in draft, refers] – to note a booking has been made for the afternoon of 11/7/24.

5.3       To receive reports from Councillors of any highway & footpath or other matters requiring attention.

6.1       To note one complaint received 19/2/24 is unresolved and advice is being sought before further action is taken.

6.2       To note one complaint received 5/3/24 is being dealt with.

 

FINANCE & GENERAL PURPOSES ISSUES

 

7          FINANCE, REGULATORY & GENERAL MATTERS

7.1       To ratify action of online authorisation/cheque signing by Cllrs. Smith and Thompson in respect of payment of the Schedule of Accounts Payable for March 2024 (Schedule 12) as tabled at the adjourned meeting of 13/3/24.

7.2       Scalby Toilets [Minute 31/24.3 refers]– to ratify the action of Cllrs. Smith and Thompson in authorising a standing order in the sum of £55/week commencing 1/3/24 to DLC Cleaning Services for regular cleaning of the toilets

7.3       Risk Assessment – to agree any changes needed.

7.4       To receive details [circulated with agenda of 13/3/24] on profitability/costs of the hub, and agree action to be taken.

11        MINUTES

11.1     To approve and authorise the Chairman to sign the minutes of the Ordinary Meeting of Council held on 13th March 2024 (enclosed).

11.2     To deal with previous unsigned minutes of meetings of the Review and Staffing Committee and Extraordinary meetings of the Council held from 1/9/23 to 7/12/23 by approving current non-signed minutes as a true and correct record of the proceedings at those meetings and ratifying en-bloc the decisions made at those meetings.

 

12        CORRESPONDENCE

 

12.1     To note one Freedom of information request received 13/3/24 has been dealt with.

12.2     To note letter dated 9/3/24 (delivered to individual councillors) from parishioner in respect of 5G mast erected November 2023 on corner of Scalby Road/Green Lane & agree action as appropriate.

12.3     To note letter within email of 15/3/24 forwarded to all councillors at parishioner’s request & agree action as appropriate

12.4     Correspondence received after 15/3/24 which the Chairman of the meeting deems it necessary to consider as a matter of urgency.
