9 COUNCILLOR’S REPORTS & UPDATES
9.1 To receive update report from Toilet Working Party. [Minute106/13.4 refers] and agree action as appropriate.
9.2 Community Asset Transfer of field to rear of Linden Road/Moor Lane [Minute122/13.3 refers] – to receive verbal update from Clerk on eligibility status.
9.3 To receive update [enclosed] from Clerk on highway & footpath or general matters since last meeting.
9.4 To receive reports from Councillors of any highway & footpath or general matters requiring attention [form at end of agenda pack].
10 CORRESPONDENCE
10.1 From Scalby & Newby Library Volunteers requesting a donation towards costs – to receive & agree action as appropriate.
10.2 Letter from parishioner via Cllr. Watson regarding inconsiderate parking on Woodville Avenue and requesting extension of existing double yellow lines – to agree action as appropriate.

FINANCE & GENERAL PURPOSES ISSUES
11 FINANCIAL MATTERS (To be tabled at the meeting unless otherwise indicated)
11.1 To note operating system on council’s computer will soon be unsupported by Microsoft and to agree to update to new operating system with additional memory at a cost of £200 to £250.
11.2 To approve the Schedule of Accounts to be paid for October 2013, Schedule 7.
11.3 Play area safety inspection report – to note annual report has identified some medium risk matters & agree action to be taken. NOTE: Clerk is obtaining price from SBC to carry out repairs, details to be given at meeting.
12 GENERAL PURPOSE & REGULATORY MATTERS
12.1 To note that following the question asked at the September Public Open Forum there has been considerable correspondence received from various people on connected matters and council procedure. To date this has required discussions with the chairman and advice from the YLCA, resulting in the Clerk incurring at least 5 hours overtime.
12.2 To consider permanently varying standing Order 64 so as to permit Council to record its meetings.
