3 MINUTES
3.1 To approve and sign the minutes of the Council Meeting held on 13th May 2015 (enclosed).
PROCEDURAL MATTER To suspend Standing Orders so as to allow the Public Open Forum.
4 PUBLIC OPEN FORUM Matters which members of the public wish to raise.
PROCEDURAL MATTER To resume Standing Orders.

5.1 To agree action as appropriate on matters raised in Public Open Forum.

8 COUNCILLOR’S REPORTS & UPDATES
8.1 Nomination to Parish Member of NYMNPA [Minute 88/15.1 refers] and use of delegated powers:- to note 1] only one nominee was allowed 2] the Chairman and Clerk agreed all councillors should be asked to vote for either Cllr. Miller or Cllr. Thompson and 3] that Cllr. Thompson received a majority of votes and all councillors were sent a letter on 19/5/2015 [enclosed] informing them of this.
8.2 To receive update [enclosed] from Clerk on highway & footpath and other matters since last meeting.
8.3 To receive reports from Councillors of any highway & footpath or general matters requiring attention [form at end of agenda pack].
8.4 To receive verbal update from Clerk on replacement of Christmas lights [Minute 89/15.8 refers] & agree action as appropriate.
9 CORRESPONDENCE
9.1 To receive [A] candidate’s election statements and [B] ballot paper for parish member appointment to NYMNP [enclosed]. To collate councillor’s completed ballot forms and submit the decision of the majority as this Council’s vote.
9.2 To receive letter of thanks from 5th Scarborough Wreyfield Guides for discretionary grant.
9.3 Draft minutes of 2015 Parish Assembly [enclosed] – to confirm as an accurate record.
9.4 To receive an email from Cloughton PC [enclosed] asking if we’d be interested in a joint meeting with Robert Goodwill MP- to agree action as appropriate.
9.5 To receive an email from the YLCA [enclosed] speaking at the meeting where the potash planning application will be determined and to agree action as appropriate.
9.6 Correspondence received after preparation of the agenda which the Chairman of the meeting deems it necessary to consider as a matter of urgency.
10 CO-OPTION TO THE 2 ORDINARY VACANCIES IN NEWBY WARD [Minute 87/15.1 refers]
10.1 To consider the three applications received [enclosed], conduct a ballot and receive the declarations of acceptance of office by a date to be agreed.
