will be held in the

FRIDAY, 26th JANUARY 2024
COMMENCING AT 9 A.M.
All councillors are hereby severally summoned and required to attend in order to transact the business on the agenda.

1 NON-ATTENDANCE OF COUNCILLORS
1.1 To receive and note apologies from councillors who are unable to attend the meeting.
1.2 To consider reasons for absence provided by councillors who cannot attend and resolve the council’s acceptance of these if felt relevant.
2 DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST
To receive any declarations of interest in items on this agenda.
3 VACANCIES
3.1 To receive application for co-option to the Ordinary Vacancy (Newby Ward) created at the election by reason of insufficient nominations & agree action as appropriate.
3.2 To receive any applications for co-option to the Casual Vacancies in Newby Ward (4) & agree action as appropriate
4 HUB EVENTS
4.1 To confirm that the Hub remains open for bookings and the meeting space and facilities can be hired in the normal way
5 SCALBY TOILETS
5.1 To receive update from Clerk on the proposed takeover of the toilets and agree how to proceed.
6 FINANCE MATTERS
6.1 Sirius Small Capital and Training Grant – to authorise repayment of the £1,559-06 underspend on this grant.
7 EXCLUSION OF PRESS AND PUBLIC
To exclude the press and public on the grounds the next items relate to legal, personnel or contract matters.
8 CONFIDENTIAL ITEMS
To consider any matters as notified to councillors by email prior to, or tabled at, the meeting and agree action as appropriate.
