7 UPDATES ON VARIOUS MATTERS & COUNCILLOR’S REPORTS
7.1 AJ1 Road Safety Fund submission – to receive & note Cllr. Towse’s verbal report and agree action as appropriate.
7.2 Pedestrian refuge on Scalby Road near sea cut bridge – to receive and note verbal reports by Cllrs. Bastiman and/or Towse and agree action as appropriate.
7.3 To receive reports from Councillors of any highway & footpath or other matters requiring attention.
8 CORRESPONDENCE
8.1 Email from parishioner [enclosed] regarding excessive speed of traffic on Scalby Road and request for Scalby Road to be designated a “dogs on lead” area – to receive and agree action as appropriate.
8.2 Emails between Clerk and MP [enclosed] regarding request for town and parish councils to be included in the list of local government bodies which are exempt from paying Stamp Duty Land Tax – to receive and note.
8.3 Email from St. Laurence’s re availability of Rickinson Hall for holding of Parish Council meetings – to receive and agree action.
8.4 Correspondence received after preparation of the agenda which the Chairman of the meeting deems it necessary to consider as a matter of urgency.
FINANCE & GENERAL PURPOSES ISSUES
9 FINANCE, REGULATORY & GENERAL MATTERS (To be tabled at the meeting unless otherwise indicated)
9.1 To approve the Schedule of Accounts Payable for September 2020 (Schedule 6).
9.2 PWLB loan application to create premises for office and community hub – to receive verbal update and agree any action as necessary.;
9.3 Casual Vacancies – to consider applications received for the two vacancies [application letters to be emailed separately to councillors as confidential items since they contain considerable personal detail] and agree action as appropriate.
9.4 2020-21 National Salary Award – 1] to note the National Joint Council has agreed the new pay scales for 2020-21 to be implemented from 1st April 2020; 2] to agree to apply this increase to the Clerk’s salary with effect from 1/4/2020.
